If you pray to the G-d of Israel; if you keep His Shabbat; if you follow the laws of kashrut; if you love His Torah then genetics do not matter. If you love the G-d of Israel, regardless of your genetics, then you must look inside yourself and ask yourself if you have a Jewish neshama...a Jewish soul. If your soul cries out this truth to you then you must seek out an Orthodox rabbi and engage in the process of becoming one of the people of Israel.

Between us and HaShem there is no intermediary. No one stands before HaShem and petitions Him...but you.

As we read on the night of the Pesach: "I will come in that night and will smite the firstborn of Egypt. I, and no messenger. I, and no angel. I am the Lord."

If you truly desire to be one with Him then you may have no other gods before Him.

If you are a Torah keeper, as you claim, then you know His first commandment:

אָנֹכִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ, אֲשֶׁר הוֹצֵאתִיךָ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם מִבֵּית עֲבָדִים: לֹא-יִהְיֶה לְךָ אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים, עַל-פָּנָי

If you are a Torah keeper there is no room for your "rabbi." We do not hate you. We simply do not count you among our nation, and neither does the G-d of Israel.Shtueyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05611947223509549389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1453830188917777884.post-32462959944290313952009-11-30T21:06:50.276-05:002009-11-30T21:06:50.276-05:00I consider myself a Torah keeper. But I am not a Jew or should I say I cannot prove that I am although my DNA has a Middle Eastern origin. I pray the prayers daily and long and weep for Israel. I long to set my foot in Yerusalem. In America there are those who through genetics are Jews but are not lovers of HaShem, followers of Torah, and are spiteful towards Israel. On the other hand I keep hearing of people here who were drawn to the worship of HaShem, Torah, laws of clean and unclean who are just finding out while in their 50's, 60's, and 70's that they Jews. However due to our faith in our Rabbi Yahsua we are hated by the Jews. Israel needs for those who love HaShem here in the U.S. to make aliyah reguardless who our Rabbi is if we love Israel and the torah. Honey derived from different flowers have different tastes.

But to truly understand the difference, one has to go there and literally get their hands in the earth. The answer is in the land; the Who Where Why and How of Eretz Yisrael. It's those things that answer why that land has, since it was settled by Am Yisrael more than 3000 years ago, only bloomed in the hands of the Jewish people.

Honey is a nexus of earth, water, light, plants, and animals...all of which come from HaShem. Milk is another such nexus. Perhaps that's why Eretz Yisrael is repeatedly referred to as eretz zavat chalav u d'vash; a land flowing with milk and honey. Eretz Yisrael is itself the nexus between HaShem, the Jewish people, and the earth from which both Am and Eretz are derived.

I have had honey from America that was sweet, delicious, even memorable. But that which is derived from a place such as Eretz Yisrael, to the Jewish tongue at least...it is the taste of everything the Jewish heart holds.Shtueyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05611947223509549389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1453830188917777884.post-23117377805283197752009-09-24T23:23:51.605-04:002009-09-24T23:23:51.605-04:00How is Israeli honey different from American honey...How is Israeli honey different from American honey? We're talking about an instrument that connects a being in the physical world to the spiritual world so the people who raise and slaughter the animals, treat the hides, make the batim and parchment, the sofers who write the verses, and those who place them in the batim, should all have a deep reverence for the law and G-d. It's best to get a recommendation from someone you trust rather than just picking blindly.
